As an Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, Shameet has been recognised for his passion and drive toward building Unimed and contributing to humanitarian relief.

The LeicestershireLive Business Awards annually celebrates and recognises the region's best business talent.
This year, the black-tie awards night will take place on Thursday, October 13, at the King Power Stadium, Leicester.
Categories include Small Business of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award, Business of the Year 2022 and more.
How Will This Shortlisting Impact Unimed?
Having our Founder and Managing Director shortlisted for Entrepreneur of the Year will have a hugely positive impact on the Unimed team. Shameet is being highlighted for leading Unimed to new opportunities with suppliers and manufacturers, as well as forming strong relationships with partners old and new. This is an aspect of the business that helps us reach new heights and supply medical products across the world.
